This Saturday, November 17 from 1-3pm, lovely Frances Lin will be at Green in BKLYN with Tea and Poetry.

Frances is the author of Whims & Woes, a collection of beautiful poems with drawings by Thuy Lin.

Whims & Woes is the first book in a collection of three that follows Saro Skybird as she finds her own center and voice.  In addition to signing this beautiful book, Frances will be reading from it too.  And we’ll be serving Green in BKLYN’s hot tea.

Of Whims & Woes, Frances says, “This collection of poems are written in hopes that the fearful child who lives in us, no matter what age we are, learns to see that there are many paths one can take.  The world is not black and white.  There are many shades of gray we live in.  Life is woeful but above all it is whimsical.”

Join us for some poetic whimsy and a spot of hot tea, too.
