Since Green in BKLYN is closed on Mondays, this year we’re celebrating Earth Day on Sunday, April 21st.We’re focusing on local foods from local businesses and, in celebration, we’re hosting tastings from local folks all day long!  It’s also Green in BKLYN’s fourth anniversary.  We call it our B-Earth Day!

So, in celebration, we’ve scheduled a few things we thought you might like.  Details are below but if you have questions, let us know.

• 12-1:00pm: Spoonable Saucy Caramel and Brooklyn Roasting Company Coffee 
  • A taste of Spoonable’s saucy caramel and a cuppa joe from the Brooklyn Roasting Company and you’re tasting the best of both while supporting local businesses.  Wake up!  Time to eat local!

• 1:30-2:30pm: Fresh Fanatic      
  • Fresh Fanatic – the all natural, local and organic market and cafe – offers an array of fresh deserts and dips made in house plus tasty cheeses and sandwiches.  All sourced from Mother Earth!

• 3:00-4:00pm: Myrtle Eats Fresh 
  • Myrtle Eats Fresh shares recipes, talks local foods & hands out samples of treats from local farms and folks.  Grow (and eat) local!

•  4:30-5:30pm: Raaka Virgin Chocolate and Super Foxy Sweets Vegan Fudge   
  • Raaka Chocolates and Super Foxy Sweets hands our locally made virgin chocolate and vegan fudge.  A sweet little celebration of local treats and sweet Mama Earth!

• All Day: Pick a Prize..
  • Spend $43 or more (for Earth Day’s 43nd year) and be entered in our raffle for awesome eco-friendly treats, tastes & other treasures from our treasured Earth!

We have much to celebrate and much to be thankful for (including our great community and neighbors like you)!  We hope you’ll join us for some (or all) of the fun on Earth Day. We love Earth Day, we love being here and we love you!
